Çimsa Portland Cement offers a solution to reach adequate initial strength in casting concrete, even if the weather is cold. Çimsa Portland Slag Cement and Portland-Limestone Cement feature insulation, better workability and compared to their class early strength gains. The products can be used with all typical concrete admixtures (e.g. plasticizers, air entraining and set retarding admixtures).

The products are suitable for the production of joint filler, tile adhesive and various construction chemicals. CEM I 42.5 R and CEM I 52.5 R type Portland cements are designed to achieve rapid strength gain in concrete. The products provide higher early strength with no significant change in setting times or workability times. Thanks to its high early strength, it is ideal to use these products in prefabricated element applications to reduce demolding time. As the products allow short demolding times, they increase the speed of prefabricated production. They are in compliance with the chloride content limit requirements for prestressed concrete. The rapid reaction times result in more heat production, which can be an advantage in cold weather conditions. This helps to overcome the effects of low ambient temperatures.
Çimsa offers solutions for customized project applications with Sulfate-Resistant Portland Cement when it is desired to manufacture sulfate-resistant concrete works against possible sulfate effects or with Low-Alkali Cement that will reduce the alkali-aggregate reaction potential that may cause durability problems. Çimsa meets the expectations with 52.5 strength class cements for projects with high performance targets in end products such as high strength concrete and thin section reinforced concrete structural elements.
Çimsa CEM II/B-L and CEM IV/B type 32.5 strength class cements are designed for general use for building implementations such as mortar, plaster, screed, coatings, insulation, etc. Building limes and plasticizer admixtures are compatible with the products. They offer improved workability, consistency, finishing and durability for easier processing. The products conform to the chromium (VI) guideline for reducing the risk of allergic dermatitis in case of contact.
