value for the society.<\/p><p>As the knowledge and understanding regarding the sustainability concept develops, practices and collaborations also continue to emerge. The new business models of 21<sup>st<\/sup>-century companies have a very different mentality than the classical ones. Today, companies are expected not only to create financial value for their shareholders and the economy, but also to solve the problems of society via their business models. Therefore, social contribution is an integral part of our operations. \u00c7imsa transformed its contributions achieved in various regions, to a more systematic and inclusive model. As a result of our collaboration with Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, we presented electric wheelchairs to the underprivileged on June 2. The event, which was held in compliance with the requirements and restrictions of pandemic, was also attended by our business partners.<\/p><p>This corporate social responsibility project, which we have been carrying out since 2015, has the goal to raise awareness on inclusion of people with disabilities in social life and to draw attention to the problems that these individuals encounter in their daily lives. Hence, the company attaches great significance and contributes to the projects that will provide support to children. Thus, \u00c7imsa launched the \"Summer Kids\" project and has been carrying out significant activities to support children in personal development and building self-confidence for 10 years. The project, which began with the participation of the children of the employees working at the Ni\u011fde Factory, has expanded in the subsequent years with the participation of children residing in the surrounding villages of Ni\u011fde. The total number of children that have participated in the project reached 1,000. Throughout the project, two-week-long trainings were provided by one psychologist, three drama teachers and three sports trainers to children aged between 7 and 12.
