efforts by adapting to new technologies in order to develop a product range that meets the needs and demands of our customers. We continue to expand our portfolio of products with features that can adapt to changing environmental conditions and different types of structures. <a href=\"https:\/\/cimsa.com.tr\/en\/products\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click to go to the products page.<\/a><\/p><p>We are building sustainable living spaces by transforming our portfolio into sustainable products that reduce clinker usage rates in cement and enrich product content with alternative raw materials.<\/p><p>In parallel with our strategy to transition to a low-carbon economy, we put the power of R&amp;D behind us by focusing on portfolio changes that will reduce our carbon intensity in the product lifecycle. We evaluate alternative raw material sources such as slag, fly ash, ceramic and marble industry by-products as additives for sustainable products. We thus include alternative resources in our production processes instead of natural raw materials as a substitute for clinker in our products, and we are taking one of the most important steps that will contribute to our decarbonization journey as well as the circular economy.<\/p><p>As \u00c7imsa, we define our products with a clinker utilization rate below 80% as \u201csustainable products\u201d in order to reinforce our internal targets in the sustainable product category and create a motivational tool for the industry and we are also guided by the classifications of the European Union Taxonomy for the transformation of our products. In 2023, within the framework of the EU taxonomy, 9 different sustainable products were put into the service of our customers, in which the clinker usage rates in cement were reduced and the product content was enhanced with cementitious substances.<\/p><p><strong>Value Added and Sustainable Concrete Products<\/strong><br \/>We present our products under the roof of IconiCrete, the premium ready-mixed concrete series we developed for the wide range of needs in creating sustainable living spaces in the building materials industry, to our business partners.
