Cimsa, a global pioneer in white cement, showcased its innovative products and solutions at the World of Concrete 2018, and announced its investment in the US
Cimsa attended the World of Concrete 2018 Fair, to present its innovative product portfolio developed specifically for the American market. The premier event hosted more than 1,500 exhibiting companies and 55,000 registered industry professionals, where Cimsa’s white cement products attracted particular attention from the attendees.
“The Name of the Formula” umbrella of products has gained praise from the American market
Cimsa introduced its innovative solutions called “The Name of the Formula”, which includes Super White, Crafta, Recipro and Resisto brands, at the Fair. “The Name of the Formula” portfolio has a very dynamic and flexible offering of solutions specifically tailored to meet the needs of every sector.
Cimsa’s General Manager Nevra Ozhatay stated that “Innovation and R&D are embedded in our company’s DNA. For the past 45 years, we continuously innovate and invest to better serve our clients’ needs and expectations. In the last 5 years, we have devoted over 350 million USD in new factories and technologies in Turkey, tripling our production capacity to 1.5 million tons of clinker production annually”.
She continued “Through our efforts, our revenue increased 20% in Q3 2017 year to year, and we now export to more than 60 countries on 7 continents with a trade volume of 110 million USD”.
Future Investment in the US
Ozhatay added that “We are also very proud to announce the recent creation of the Cimsa Americas Cement Manufacturing and Sales Corp. We will maintain our dedication to R&D, innovation, and our growth strategy, to directly address our clients’ specific product expectations and demands in the US market”.
Cimsa White Cement and Special Products Vice General Manager Ulku Ozcan highlighted innovative competence of Cimsa and said that “Customer behavior has changed as a result of technological developments, and to keep up with this transformation, we created “Cimsa – The Name of the Formula” mobile app, which exemplifies the digitalization of sales and marketing channels in the cement sector. With this app, we aim to be a 7/24 solution partner for our customers, while at the same time improving customer satisfaction”.
